INDIAN BLACK BEAN CURRY

Indian beans curry recipe  made with black beans cooked in a spicy onion tomato sauce. It's a very easy recipe which gets ready in just 30 minutes.

Step 1: Collect the recipe ingredients.

Step 2: Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, bay leaf, and peppercorns. Sauté for a few seconds.

Step 3: Add chopped onion.

Step 4: Cook until the onion turns golden brown.

Step 5: Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute.

Step 6: Add crushed kasoori methi, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Saute for about 30 seconds.

Step 7: Add chopped tomatoes, green chilies, and salt.

Step 8: Cook until the tomatoes turn mushy and are nicely cooked.

Step 9: Add cooked black beans.

Step 10: Sauté beans with the sauce for about a minute.

Step 11: Add water or vegetable stock and cook for 5 minutes.

Step 12: Add garam masala and chopped cilantro. Mix everything. Your Indian style black bean curry is ready to be served.
