Vermicelli rice is a simple and tasty Middle Eastern rice dish that goes well with a lot of Arabic dishes. It's easy to make and needs just 3 main ingredients.

Step 1: Collect the recipe ingredients.

Step 2: Rinse rice well and soak in water for around 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, strain and keep aside.

Step 3: Roast vermicelli in extra virgin olive oil until it turns golden brown.

Step 4: Add soaked rice and salt.

Step 5: Sauté for a minute.

Step 6: Add water and mix.

Step 7: Cook covered on low heat for 15 minutes.

Step 8: After 15 minutes, turn off the heat but don't remove the lid for at least 5 minutes.
