EASY CHICKPEA CUTLETS

Plant based chickpea cutlets- these delicious cutlets can be served as a main course dish, can be enjoyed as a snack, and also be served for breakfast.

Step 1: Collect the recipe ingredients.

Step 2: Put boiled chickpeas in a large bowl.

Step 3: Mash until smooth.

Step 4: Add chopped onion, garlic, cilantro, chili flakes, pepper, and salt

Step 5:  Mix everything.

Step 6: Divide the mixture into 8 equal parts. Roll each part between your palms and flatten them into ½ inch thick cutlets.

Step 7: Place them on a plate.

Step 8: Roll all the cutlets over all purpose flour, dust off the extra flour, and put them on a plate.

Step 9: In a bowl, mix all purpose flour and water.

Step 10: Make a smooth paste.

Step 11: Put flour paste in a bowl, bread crumbs in another bowl and keep an empty plate near to make a breading station.

Step 12: Dip the cutlet in the flour paste and quickly take out. Drip off excess liquid.

Step 13: Roll it over bread crumbs until all sides get evenly coated.

Step 14: Repeat the process with the remaining cutlets and arrange them on a plate.

Step 15: Deep fry until they turn golden brown from all sides. Your delicious vegan chickpea cutlets are ready to be served!
