This apple chutney, made in Indian style is perfect for your fall and winter meals. It's flavored with warm Indian spices which make it irresistible in this season.

Step 1: Collect the recipe ingredients.

Step 2: Peel, core, and chop the apples.

Step 3: Heat oil in a cooking pot and add mustard seeds. When the seeds start spluttering, add raisins and grated ginger. Sauté for a few seconds.

Step 4: Add chopped apples.

Step 5: Add ground cinnamon, black pepper, chili flakes, garam masala, vinegar, and salt. Cook covered for around 15 minutes or until the apples turn mushy.

Step 6: Add sugar and mix. Cook until the sugar gets dissolved (around 2 minutes).

Step 7: Switch off the stove and allow the chutney to reach room temperature.
