Step 1: Collect the recipe ingredients.

Step 2: Add cumin seeds to hot oil in a pan and let them splutter. Add minced garlic.

Step 3: Add chopped onion and cook until it starts turning brown.

Step 4: Add turmeric powder, black pepper, coriander powder, and red chili powder. Saute for a few seconds.
