Step 1: Collect the recipe ingredients.

Step 2: Put chickpea flour, salt, black pepper, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and carom seeds in a bowl. Mix.

Step 3: Add water and mix to make a batter of pouring consistency.

Step 4: Add chopped vegetables, herbs, ginger, garlic, bean sprouts, and green chilies. Mix.

Step 5: Brush a pan with some cooking oil and heat it. Spread around a ladleful of batter on the pan.

Step 6: Cover the pan and cook chilla for around 4 minutes or until the bottom side of the chilla turns golden brown.

Step 7: Flip the chilla and cook the other side too until it also starts getting brown spots. Take out on a plate and enjoy!
