Whole masoor dal is a delicious and flavorful dal recipe from India. It's made with brown lentils and is flavored with warm Indian spices.

Step 1: Collect the recipe ingredients.

Step 2: Wash brown lentils and put in a pressure cooker. Add water.

Step 3: Add some salt and turmeric powder.

Step 4: Cook on a medium flame till 3 whistles. Allow the pressure to get released naturally.

Step 9: Add chopped tomatoes, green chilies, and the remaining salt.

Step 10: Cook until the tomatoes turn mushy.

Step 11: Add cooked lentils. Mix everything and let the lentil curry simmer for 2 minutes.
