Delicious and creamy, this Indian mushroom curry is a flavorful vegetarian curry that is loved by all.

Step 1: Collect the recipe ingredients.

Step 2: Sauté roughly chopped onion, garlic, and ginger in some oil until the onion starts turning brown.

Step 3: Add chopped tomato, green chilies, and some salt. Cook covered until the tomatoes turn soft.

Step 4: Let the sauteed onion and tomatoes reach room temperature and then transfer to a grinding jar.

Step 5: Make a smooth onion tomato paste.

Step 6: Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, bay leaf, black peppercorns, cloves, green, and black cardamom. Sauté for a few seconds.

Step 7: Add onion tomato paste, remaining salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder. Sauté for 5-6 minutes.

Step 8: Add chopped mushrooms and mix everything.

Step 9: Cover the pan and cook until the mushrooms are nicely cooked. Add some water if the gravy is too thick.
