Indian sweet mango  chutney

Step 1: Collect the recipe ingredients.

Step 2: Wash, peel, and roughly chop green mangoes.

Step 3: Heat oil in a cooking pot. Add dried red chilies and panch phoran (blend of fenugreek seeds, nigella seeds, cumin seeds, black mustard seeds and fennel seeds). Saute for 30 seconds

Step 4: Add chopped mangoes

Step 5: Add salt and turmeric. Sauté for a minute.

Step 6: Add water.

Step 7: Cook covered for 12-15 minutes or until the mangoes turn mushy.

Step 8: Roughly mash the mangoes with a ladle or masher.

Step 9: Add powdered jaggery or sweetener of choice.

Step 10: Mix everything and cook for a minute. Your sweet and sour mango chutney is ready to be served!
