Snow peas mushroom stir fry

Snow peas mushroom stir fry is a delicious, quick, and easy Asian stir fry recipe that can be prepared in less than 15 minutes. Serve it as an appetizer or pair it up with rice or noodles to enjoy a homecooked Asian meal.

  • Put soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, palm sugar, red pepper flakes, ground black pepper, and salt in a bowl. Mix and keep aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large wok. Add sliced mushrooms and snow peas. Saute on high heat for 6-7 minutes or until the mushrooms start turning brown.
  • Add ginger and garlic. Saute for around 30 seconds.
  • Add sauce mix and cook for around 2 minutes. Turn off the heat.

Notes

  • Pat try the mushrooms and snow peas well before stir-frying.
  • Always stir fry on medium-high heat and in a large wok or skillet so that the ingredients can be stirred easily.
  • Use a large skillet or wok for stir frying.
  • Other varieties of mushrooms like enoki mushrooms or shiitake mushrooms, etc. can also be added to this stir fry.
  • You can also add other Asian sauces like vegan or vegetarian oyster sauce, sriracha sauce, etc. in this recipe.
  • For a gluten free version of this dish, use coconut aminos instead of soy sauce.
  • To make the dish spicy, drizzle chili oil on top or add a hot sauce of choice to the sauce mix.
  • Adding peanuts is optional. You can skip it if you are allergic to them. Cashew nuts can also be added instead of peanuts. Bean sprouts can also be used for garnishing.
  • Vegetables like carrots, bell peppers, green beans, baby bok choy, green onions can also be added to this snow pea stir fry.
