Quick and easy spicy garlic tofu is a delicious Asian stir fry recipe that gets ready in just 30 minutes. You can enjoy it as a side dish with noodles or rice and can enjoy it as an appetizer too.

Step1: Collect the recipe ingredients.

Step 2: Wrap tofu block in a kitchen towel and press with something heavy like a bean jar. Or, use a tofu press to do that.

Step 3: Cut tofu block into bite size pieces.

Step 4: Put the tofu cubes in a bowl. Add chili oil, garlic powder, and salt. Gently toss.

Step 5: Spread the cubes on a baking tray lined with a baking sheet. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°C ( around 400°F) for  12-15 minutes.

Step 6: Heat oil in a pan. Add minced garlic and chopped white part of spring onion. Sauté until the raw smell of garlic goes away.

Step 7: Add brown sugar, ground black pepper, soy sauce, and oyster mushroom sauce. Sauté for a minute.

Step 8: Add baked tofu and chopped spring onion greens.

Step 9: Sauté for 1-2 minutes. Turn off the heat and garnish with chopped spring onion greens. Your spicy garlic tofu is ready!
